This role goes beyond traditional software engineering—you’ll be designing and deploying AI agents, orchestration layers, reasoning pipelines, and LLM-powered workflows while also contributing across our backend/frontend stack.If you’re excited about building production-grade AI products and want to own meaningful pieces of the platform—this is the place for you.What You’ll DoArchitect, build, and scale agentic AI systems, including task-solving workflows, reasoning loops, and tool-use pipelines.Develop full-stack features across backend and frontend (Python/TypeScript/React).Build and deploy LLM-powered services, retrieval systems, and model-orchestration layers.Develop APIs, microservices, and integrations with EMRs and healthcare systems.Translate real-world patient workflows into automated, voice-enabled AI agents.Rapidly prototype, iterate, and own features end-to-end—from concept to deployment.Optimize inference cost, latency, observability, and reliability across agentic workflows.What We’re Looking For3+ years of software engineering experience.Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with TypeScript/React.Experience building backend services, APIs, or distributed systems.Prior experience building or deploying AI agents:voice, chat, task-oriented, or LLM-driven automation workflows.Practical understanding of agentic AI concepts, such as multi-step reasoning, tool calling, workflow orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG),stateful agent architectures.Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, etc.).Basic DevOps skills (Docker, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, AWS/Azure).Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with ambiguity and high ownership.Passion for building AI that solves real operational problems in healthcare.Bonus Points ForExperience with speech-to-text, TTS, telephony, or conversational AI pipelines.Healthcare tech experience, including HIPAA, EMR/EHR workflows, HL7/FHIR, or integrations.Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval systems.High-growth SaaS or platform engineering experience.What We OfferCompetitive Compensation + Equity — be part of the value you create.Comprehensive Benefits — high-quality health coverage + flexible PTO.In-Person Collaboration (Austin, TX) — work closely with the founding team.
