The Immigration Paralegals, or Case Managers, play a pivotal role in assisting Immigration Attorneys in preparing cases on behalf of our clients, individuals relocating internationally.

This position requires a detail-oriented approach to ensure immigration documentation aligns seamlessly with necessary requirements, facilitating faster, more effective case management in compliance with legislation.


We have 2 (two) on-site open positions for Senior Case Managers, Case Managers, and Associate Case Managers specialized in EB-5 Visas in our Alexandria, Virginia, offices.

EB-5 Visa is the fifth preference visa under the employment-based category. The U.S. Congress created the EB-5 Program in 1990 to stimulate the U.S. economy through job creation and capital investment by foreign investors, and in 1992, the Regional Center Program, which sets aside EB-5 visas for participants who invest in commercial enterprises associated with regional centers approved by USCIS based on proposals for promoting economic growth. Investors willing to make the necessary investment in a commercial enterprise in the United States; and plan to create or preserve ten permanent full-time jobs for qualified U.S. workers.


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

  • Must demonstrate previous experience in the immigration field - in EB-5 Visas, with a relevant number of approvals.
  • Paralegal Certification, J.D., or LLM degrees from an ABA-approved law school are mandatory.
  • Previous experience in the immigration field is mandatory.
  • Bilingual in English | Portuguese is mandatory.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Case Management: Oversee all aspects of the Visa and Immigration Service to guarantee a smooth process. Ensure timely completion and accuracy of all visa and immigration documents. Regularly update and maintain client records with strict adherence to legal requirements.
  • Client Consultation: Provide tailored advice to clients on obtaining necessary documentation for international migration. Establish vital and individualized communication channels with clients.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration legislation and procedures. Build and sustain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.


KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Project Management Skills, exceptional organizational and time management skills, and a strong focus on details, a detail-oriented person with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and resolve complex issues in a dynamic environment. Maintain a prompt system for the timely filing of extensions, petitions, and applications. Coordinate filing of applications and petitions.
  • Proactive and effective communication with clients and team members. Evaluate and organize documents supporting applications and petitions. Function as a liaison between clients’ petitions and attorneys.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES:

  • Start Date: Immediate.
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
  • Location: All positions are On-Site and based in our Alexandria, Virginia, Offices.
  • Compensation: Starting at $43.888,00 annually, with benefits including 20 days PTO, unlimited sick days, 11 business holiday days per year, comprehensive health insurance with dental and vision, and 401k.
  • Open Positions: Ten positions are available this quarter.
  • Eligibility to work in the USA is required (you must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or a valid EAD holder for over 365 days).
