Sr Director/Director For Bd Small Molecules CdmoThis company is a fully integrated small molecules CRO & CDMO with operations across US, Europe, and Asia. The business has a mature, tenured team of BD Directors in the US and is looking to hire a Sr Director/Director for the West Coast region.Job DescriptionDevelop and execute business development strategies to drive growth within the life sciences industry. Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients on the West Coast. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and present tailored CMC solutions. Lead contract negotiations and manage the sales process from initiation to closure. Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and market dynamics. Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance and pipeline activity. Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and generate leads. Proven experience in business development within the small molecules CDMO industry, specifically drug substance. Strong understanding of CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) processes and services. Must be based on the West Coast; SF Bay Area or Southern California is preferred. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. Knowledge of the West Coast market and key industry players.What's On OfferCompetitive salary ranging from $180,000 to $220,000. Total ownership of West Coast region, expected to manage an existing book of business immediately. Uncapped commission, excellent bonus structure, and other incentives.
