We work with clients to ensure all students have what they need to succeed.The Business Operations Analyst will take a client-centric view and support a consultative approach to understanding and solving complex problems faced by state and local education agencies. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying a structured approach to implementing solutions to problems that expand PCG's impact in the states and regions they are working with. The Business Operations Analyst will execute assigned tasks and partner with other teams to solve problems related to education case management, strategic planning, data management and use. While a remote role, it is expected that the successful candidate will reside in the Mid Atlantic area and be able to travel as needed to meet with and support PCG teams.Duties and Responsibilities:Provides analytical services and supports the development of project work productsEvaluates client needs, plans and executes on delivery and implementation plans, and tests and troubleshoots final system setupsAssists team in developing specifications and testing technical development tasksAssists external clients in the implementation of technical systems, software, or solutionsDrafts updates to training manuals and other end-user documentationAssists end-users with support inquiries utilizing multiple platformsCoordinates with team if end-user inquiries need to be escalatedAssists in conducting online and on-site trainingsUses database management systems to gather and analyze dataWorks within a team to accomplish other duties on projects to meet necessary deadlinesEnsures quality work products are delivered to clientsExercises discretion and independent judgmentManages and builds upon team relationshipsAdheres to and supports project management approach and other PMO principles and practicesEnsures communication among all key stakeholdersProvides IT job duties which include Business and Technical Leadership, System Analysis, Code Development, Software Engineering, or other similarly skilled computer-related work as neededRequired Skills:Creative problem-solving ability and results-orientationDedication to accomplishing goals and challenges presented by clients and managementAbility to interact with various levels of management and clientsFlexible, self-starter possessing intellectual curiosityExcellent oral presentation and written communication skillsSolid organizational and time management skillsDemonstrated expertise in all MS Office productsQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required4+ years of relevant experienceWorking Conditions:Remote office settingUp to 25% travel requiredCompensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
