Instrumentation and Control Engineer

LHH is working with a leading manufacturing company in the Pittsburgh area, who is looking to add a Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to their team The I&C Engineer will be responsible for the overall development, administration, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of various operations networks, historian servers, HMIs and web services. The ideal candidate will be able to work a hybrid schedule, travel up to 20% - 50%, and have experience in a heavy/production industry.


Requirements

  • Support maintenance, design, improvement, and troubleshooting of PLC's, operations networks, computer systems, web services, data storage, cloud infrastructure and all critical data systems and programs.
  • Be able to have innovative approaches to work and be HMI savvy
  • Configure and deploy new workstations
  • Meet the end users expectations
  • Work with vendors, production and other engineering teams to complete projects


Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in IT/OT
  • Experience with Python, R, C, C++ and Java
  • Proficiency with process control instrumentation
  • CCST, CAP, Network, security, Microsoft and Cisco certifications are a plus
