Role Summary: As a Commercial Litigation Associate, you will be integral in managing all facets of litigation processes from inception through trial. This position requires a sharp, conscientious individual who excels in a fast-paced environment and is committed to upholding the highest standards of client service and ethical conduct.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead litigation efforts for complex commercial cases in both state and federal courts throughout Florida.
- Conduct thorough discovery processes, including the management of document collections, submissions, and depositions.
- Draft, review, and argue a range of pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
- Maintain proactive and consistent communication with clients, ensuring transparency and understanding at all stages of the litigation process.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to formulate strategies and manage case proceedings efficiently.
- Engage in detailed trial preparation and strategy formulation to ensure comprehensive readiness and alignment with client goals.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of substantive experience in commercial litigation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing complex legal disputes and a keen understanding of commercial law.
- Exceptional analytical, technical, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting as well as independently when required.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Previous judicial clerkship experience is advantageous but not required.

- Robust litigation competence, particularly in commercial contexts.
- Advanced advocacy skills, with a proven track record in persuasive written and oral communications.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and case management.
