Responsibilities:

Cloud Architecture: Design and manage analytical cloud systems using Azure Synapse and Apache Spark (PySpark).

Data Integration: Connect and integrate data sources for seamless flow and accessibility.

Data Processing: Optimize and develop scalable data pipelines.

Environment Management: Handle test and production environments with best practices.

Operational Excellence: Monitor and prioritize data tasks for efficiency.

Collaboration: Support analytics teams and address stakeholder data needs.

Experience Required:

· Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

· Technical Skills: Proven experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Apache Spark (PySpark). Strong proficiency in SQL and data pipeline development.

· Data Integration: Experience connecting to and integrating diverse data sources, including relational databases, APIs, and cloud-based data systems.

· ETL Processes: Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing ETL processes and managing data transformation workflows.

· Environment Management: Familiarity with best practices in managing test and production environments and implementing environment segregation strategies.

· Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and optimize data pipelines.

· Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams and effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.

· Industry Experience: Preference for experience working in the tree fruit or agricultural industry and/or the manufacturing industry.
