Import Export Specialist

A successful Freight Forwarding and Logistics company are seeking an Import Export Specialist. The position is based in Miami. The individual will work in Office for the first couple of months and then Hybrid. This position is primarily responsible for managing Import/export transactions, setting priorities for the team, expediting transactions and tasks to meet customer expectations and government requirements, and monitoring the quality of service including documents produced by the team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance with export rules and regulations

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3 years relevant to Rails, Ship and Land Import/Export freight forwarding experience.
  • Knowledge of procedures for international and domestic freight, trucking, and warehouse services.
