Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Commercial Construction Pre Construction/Estimator Manager at PMGR Development Group Corp located in Houston, TX. The Commercial Construction Pre Construction/Estimator Manager will be responsible for overseeing the pre-construction and estimating activities for commercial construction projects. They will collaborate with the project team, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to develop accurate and competitive project estimates. The Commercial Construction Pre Construction/Estimator Manager will also review project plans, specifications, and schedules to identify potential issues and opportunities for value engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in commercial construction pre-construction and estimating
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation techniques
- Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Procore, PlanSwift) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Project management experience is a plus
- Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Estimator) are a plus
- Proficient in Spanish a plus
