Joliet, IL (Hybrid - 2 days in the office)


The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for maintenance of pricing model, monitoring and analysis of current pricing components, impact analysis for changes, competitor pricing, assisting in preparing market share and revenue forecasts, and comparing the outcomes of different pricing strategies.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate KPI’s and reports to identify key areas for management.

• Responsible for maintenance of pricing model and customer price sheets

• Track, analyze and apply pricing adjustments requested by sales

• Model the potential impact of pricing strategies and pricing changes on profitability.

• Assessing data from a variety of sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends.

• Create reports and analysis, detailing findings from research and recommending steps to take to improve performance in a particular area.

• Analyzing competitors’ products, pricing strategies, pricing and marketing campaigns in order to develop a strategy to compete with segment leaders.

• Recommending pricing strategies that align closely with market trends and identifying new market segments.

• Collaboration with segment leaders to assist in forecasting revenue, production costs, profit margins based upon forecasted volume.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or in a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years business-related experience as an analyst.

• Ability to meet deadlines and produce at a high level with little direct supervision.

• Strong excel skills required, experience building models and using formulas
