Your challenges?


As a Hardware Design Engineer, you will:

  • Customer Solutions: Develop solutions for both external (electricians, installers) and internal (marketing, quality) customers.
  • Product Development: Assist in refining marketing requirements, developing technical specifications, and conducting competitive analysis.
  • Project Management: Define engineering tasks, create project schedules, estimate resources, and lead electronics designers and technicians. Clearly present project summaries to stakeholders.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Facilitate prototype generation, create and execute test plans, interpret results, and communicate findings to senior management.
  • Product Definition: Oversee the creation of product definition files, including schematic capture, PCB creation, and BOM development, with experience in Cadence tools preferred.
  • Innovation & Risk Management: Document intellectual property, analyze and mitigate product safety risks, and conduct root cause analysis for hardware and embedded systems.
  • Compliance & Certification: Ensure products meet third-party standards, work with agencies like UL for certification, and contribute to user documentation.



What do we expect from you?


The minimum required skills necessary for this role:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s or PhD is a plus).
  • 3-5 years of experience in electronics hardware product development.
  • Proven success in leading at least one new project development.
