Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer/ Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Power BI, including DAX and Power Query M, with a strong background in data modeling and creating visually compelling dashboards and reports. This role will play a critical part in maintaining and enhancing our data analytics solutions, supporting stakeholders with actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop visually compelling and interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, adhering to best practices for data visualization and storytelling.
  • Maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines, interfaces, and process automation to support analytics solutions.
  • Utilize intermediate to advanced SQL skills and advanced Excel capabilities (including VBA and Macros) for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Apply expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting, and collaborate with ERP systems as necessary.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, optimize performance, and troubleshoot data-related problems.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable dashboards and reports.
  • Evaluate current data analytics strategies, recommend improvements, and implement enhancements as part of a collaborative team effort.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, empowering them to leverage business metrics for informed decision-making.
  • Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of Power BI solutions to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, enhancements, and industry trends to propose innovative solutions that enhance data visualization capabilities and drive business value.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience creating visually compelling and interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
  • Extensive knowledge of Power BI, including DAX and Power Query M, and proficiency in data modeling (creating relationships, calculated columns/measures, and managing hierarchies).
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel skills (VBA, Macros).
  • Familiarity with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and ERP systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize performance and troubleshoot data-related issues.
  • Exceptional communication skills to understand stakeholder needs and translate them into actionable dashboards and reports.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required.
  • Experience in multi-site healthcare preferred.

Working Environment: This position will be hybrid, with approximately 3 days per week in-office. The role reports to the Director of FP&A.
