Job Overview:

  • The candidate in this position is a key contributor to the success of Facility Integrity Inspection execution.
  • The position requires strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and technical skills to be successful.
  • On occasion, the candidate in this position may be required to work under pressure and strict deadlines.
  • The candidate may also be required to make frequent changes to schedule depending on operational and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the planning, scheduling, and execution of Facility Integrity inspection and repair projects.
  • Responsible for development and management of Facility Integrity project execution schedule.
  • Track action items and assigned tasks for Facility Integrity related to scope of work development, field verifications, project execution, etc. to assure timely planning and execution of all Facility Integrity inspection and repair projects.
  • Request proposals from inspection contractors, repair organizations, scaffold contractors, insulation contractors, and other support crafts required to execute Facility Integrity inspection and repair projects.
  • Review vendor proposals on technical and commercial basis. When required collaborate with Inspection Technical SME, Regional Lead Inspector, Regional Engineer, Operations, and others in selection of vendors prior to creation of purchase requisitions.
  • Create purchase requisitions in Maximo for inspection contractors, repair organizations, scaffold contractors, insulation contractors, and other support crafts required to execute Facility Integrity inspection and repair projects.
  • Create service requests in Maximo for Operations support for Facility Integrity inspection and repair projects.
  • Coordinate with inspection contractors, repair organizations, scaffold contractors, insulation contractors, and other support crafts to timely execute Facility Integrity inspection and repair projects.
  • Collaborate with Regional Lead Inspectors and Regional Engineers in communication of planned Facility Integrity inspection and repair projects to Regional Operations.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Operations, outage coordinators, etc. to develop execution strategy for Facility Integrity inspection and repair projects.
  • Schedule and facilitate Project Kick-off Meetings and Project Close-out meetings for Facility Integrity inspection and repair projects.
  • Track costs associated with Facility Integrity inspection and repair projects to assure compliance with departmental budgets
  • Fill in for Inspection Technical SME and Regional Lead Inspectors as required
  • Fill in for FI Inspection Supervisor as required
  • Travel up to 25% of time may be required

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of project management and related experience in fabrication and repair of ASME Section VIII & B31 compliant Pressure Vessels and Station Piping
  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED
  • Working Knowledge in Basic and Advanced Non-Destructive Testing Techniques and how to apply them based on damage mechanisms
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic scheduling ability in MS Project Software
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management System (i.e. Maximo, SAP, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Integrity Data Management System (i.e. Visions, PCMS, Ultra pipe, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of applicable PHMSA (Part 192, Part 192 Subpart O, Part 193) and CER (Onshore Pipeline Regulations) requirements
  • Working knowledge of ASME B31.8, BPVC (I, IV, V, VIII, IX), CSA-Z662, CSA-B51, API 650, NBIC-23, ASME B31.3, API RP 576
