Our world-class curriculum is built upon the Mathnasium Methodthe result of decades of hands-on instruction and developmentand has changed the lives of children since 2002.At Mathnasium of West Newton, we're passionate about both our students and our employeesWe set ourselves apart by providing Math Learning Center Director IN-PERSONs with:A rewarding leadership opportunity to transform the lives of 2nd-12th grade studentsA full-time, salaried positionA fun, supportive, and encouraging work cultureOpportunities for professional developmentContinuous training on education, sales, and management best practicesAll necessary curriculum and instructional toolsIf you are driven, motivated, and eager to make a difference, we would love to meet youJob Responsibilities:Student Progress - Create effective learning plans initial, pre-post checkups, advancements; student pace of progress through learning plan, monitor red flag students.Parent Communication - Progress Update reports and meetings with parents; respond to parents ad-hoc inquiries about progress, math issues, teacher feedbackTraining/Coaching Instructors - New instructor onboarding/certification; ongoing observations and coaching; Instructor Staff meetings; recruiting and staffingCenter Operations Staffing, scheduling, center cleanliness, and whatever it takes to run the center well.Qualifications:Passion for math and working with studentsExcellent interpersonal and organizational skillsAbility to cultivate teamwork and balance various leadership responsibilitiesEagerness to learn and be trainedExceptional math competency through at least Algebra IProficiency in computer skillsCompleted Bachelor's Degree, preferred in education, math, or related fieldPrevious management or leadership experience preferredPrevious customer relationships & sales experience preferredAll applicants are required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.Compensation: $46,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
