Human Resources And Payroll ClerkThe employer is hiring for a full-time Human Resources and Payroll Clerk. Will be dedicated to supporting the County's mission of public service by managing human resources and payroll functions. This role focuses on compliance, improving operational efficiency, and fostering a positive countywide culture. The position serves as a liaison among County Commissioners, elected officials, the legal department, and employees, ensuring communication and compliance with policies and regulations. Duties include, but are not limited to: Administer recruitment, selection, and onboarding for new employees. Maintain employee files and ensure confidentiality. Process payroll and benefits. Advise employees, supervisors, and elected officials on HR policies and procedures. Support workplace investigations and handle employee relations. Facilitate effective communication among staff, management, and external agencies. Experience in Human Resources is preferred.
