What will your day look like? As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive support for both On-Premises and Cloud Infrastructure, including strategic planning, design, management, and issue resolution.
  • Conduct thorough analysis, management, and testing of Group Policy Objects to ensure efficient system management.
  • Oversee Enterprise data backup solutions, including job monitoring, scheduling, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Enforce adherence to established Cybersecurity practices and policies within the organization.
  • Efficiently handle Cybersecurity events and manage vulnerability assessments for proactive risk mitigation.
  • Prioritize and resolve escalated issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.
  • Proactively identify areas for operational improvement and make recommendations accordingly.
  • Ensure optimal performance of hardware and software through regular maintenance and updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network, connectivity, and server issues to minimize disruptions.
  • Coordinate the upgrading of firmware, software, and legacy hardware systems to maintain system integrity.
  • Generate detailed technical documentation, including error reports and maintenance logs.
  • Develop user-friendly IT support documentation to facilitate user understanding and self-help.
  • Provide on-site support to remote locations and facilities as needed.
  • Collaborate in the design and implementation of network firewall concepts and connectivity troubleshooting strategies.
  • Develop, test, and maintain scripts using PowerShell, VBScript, BAT file, or similar languages.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Automation and Orchestration techniques for streamlined operations.
  • Exhibit advanced proficiency in Windows OS administration via command line interfaces.
  • Manage virtual infrastructure, Virtual Private Networks, and Shared storage systems effectively.
  • Deploy applications on various cloud platforms, both public and private, to meet organizational needs.
  • Willingness to travel to company facilities as required.
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IAC) and deployment patterns using ADO, GitOps, or Terraform for efficient infrastructure management.
  • Participate in after-hours support rotations and provide on-call assistance as needed.
  • Deliver exceptional client communication and support services, both in-person and remotely.


You will be a good fit as a Senior Systems Administrator if you:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Possess a minimum of five years of experience in a senior technical support capacity.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with ITIL processes and methodologies.
  • Exhibit a robust technical background with proficiency in various IT systems and technologies.
  • Showcase exceptional analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Display excellent leadership and adeptness in people management.
  • Provide strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Possess hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365 core suite of applications.
  • Are proficient in computer software license management and asset controls.
  • Have familiarity with Windows computer deployment practices, including Intune.
