The Electrical Engineering Technician will perform technical tasks related to qualifying new power tool products for safety and reliability within a laboratory setting. Key responsibilities include following test procedures, collecting qualification data, and preparing reports for review by cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should have a proactive attitude, eagerness to learn new technical skills, and the ability to work well in a team. Strong time-management skills and self-motivation are essential. Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Basic familiarity with electronic test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes Experience in evaluating, testing, and debugging electronic circuits Primary Responsibilities: Conduct testing for new power tools, lithium-ion batteries, and chargers Follow established test procedures with proper techniques and protocols Collect test data and generate reports for review and approval Communicate findings clearly to team members Cross-train on specialized equipment including automated battery test fixtures, x-ray machines, and 3D printers Debug electronic circuits from samples and field returns Assemble product prototypes and test fixtures as needed Maintain a safe and clean work environment About Us TTI is a global leader in designing, manufacturing, and marketing Power Tools, Hand Tools, Outdoor Power Equipment, and Floor Care appliances for consumers, professionals, and industrial users in the home improvement, repair, and construction sectors.
