Electrical Engineer (Controls & Power Systems) Location: Near Greenville, SC (Anderson Area) Salary: Up to $140,000 Base + Relocation Assistance Industry: Consumer Products Manufacturing Job Type: Full-Time On-Site About the Company We are partnering with a highly respected consumer products manufacturer located near Greenville, South Carolina, known for its strong culture, modern facility, and long-term employee retention. This is an 800+ employee operation with significant investment in automation, infrastructure, and continuous improvement. Position Overview The Electrical Engineer (Controls Focus) will lead complex control system projects while also supporting medium voltage power systems, drives, and power generation equipment. This role partners closely with production, maintenance, and customers to resolve equipment issues while serving as a technical mentor for engineering and technician teams. This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with strong executive visibility. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute PLC and HMI control system projects Troubleshoot and optimize high-speed manufacturing equipment Serve as technical escalation point for equipment reliability and controls issues Work directly with customers on equipment performance improvements Support and lead electrical systems including: Medium voltage systems Power generation AC/DC drives Hydraulic & pneumatic systems Coach, mentor, and supervise Controls Technicians Drive project planning, execution, and documentation Support automation upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering preferred; other technical degrees considered) 4+ years of hands-on industrial controls experience Strong experience with: PLC Programming HMI Programming Project Management Solid leadership and communication skills Experience in consumer products or high-speed manufacturing environments Preferred (Not Required) DCS Systems Experience Robotics Integration Experience Why This Role?
