Accurant Biotech is a full-service CRO, we provide GLP bioanalysis, CMC testing, clinical trial and regulatory affair support.  We are seeking an experienced and motivated Immunohistochemistry Sr. Scientist to join our team.  

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Build and oversee the IHC function and serve as the subject matter expert  
  • Develop, optimize, and validate high quality and reproducible immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, and multiplexing protocols in a drug development service setting  
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to contribute to the development of novel technologies and methodologies in IHC and molecular pathology  
  • Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute scientific strategies that align with our company's long-term vision and objectives  
  • Execute assays in compliance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) standards. 
  • Ensure the quality of data, including analysis and interpretation of assay results. 

Qualifications 

  • MS or equivalent education with typically 5-7+ years of experience on immunohistochemistry   
  • Proficiency in IHC-related software to support data analysis tasks   
  • Experience in GLP/CLIA/CAP is preferred.  
  • Ability to build strong relationships with peers and cross functionally with partners outside of team to enable higher performance  
  • Solid understanding of FDA guidelines for assay validation in bioanalysis. 
  • Prior experience in a GLP laboratory is preferred. 
  • Strong presentation and project management skills. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment with a passion for scientific innovation.
