Senior AccountantPrideStaff Financial on behalf of a client is looking for an experienced and professional Senior Accountant who can manage full-cycle accounting processes, including month-end and year-end closings. Please apply todayJob Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, cash flow statements and forecastsOversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsReconcile bank statements and general ledger accountsDevelop and maintain accounting policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controlsCollaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and systemsAnalyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendationsAssist in budgeting, job costing and forecasting activitiesManage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedulesPrepare and file various tax returns and reportsImplement and maintain accounting software and systemsConduct financial analysis for special projects and initiativesSkills:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited university is required5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior roleStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standardsProficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelingExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirementsAdaptability to changing priorities and deadlinesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPrideStaff Financial is an equal-opportunity employerCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $38.00 - $41.00
