We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our dynamic Special Markets sales team to drive growth of our Vending channel for the Western U.S. region. Reporting to the Vice President, Sales - Special Markets this Regional Sales Manager will lead and grow sales and profits across several states by working with vending clients. The manager will support the team with a strong focus on customers to improve company results. Lead the growth using customer insights, building good relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and brokers, and work closely with customers to achieve success.ResponsibilitiesManager vending accounts to promote PIM fruit snacks and confectionery brands as preferred options.Look for new distribution opportunities with contacts that can help grow sales in a profitable way.Create annual programs, promotions, and planograms with partners to support PIM Brands.Build positive relationships with key contacts that help PIM grow across different parts of the business.Support brokers in carrying out PIM initiatives and meeting yearly goals.Set sales objectives by working with brokers to create sales plans that align with national goals.Carry out channel and customer strategies that follow the overall sales direction.Drive broker reviews to highlight focus areas and share guidance that supports PIM growth.Participate in customer reviews to understand their business and suggest solutions that benefit both them and PIM Brands.Help manage trade funding budgets, promotional plans, and product forecasts with brokers and customers.Focus on resets and revisions, working with brokers and retailers to prepare and support the reset process to grow PIM's market share.Prepare and present materials for clients during business reviews, planning sessions, and promotional discussions.Qualifications4-year bachelor's degree in business or a related field5+ years' experience in Sales and/or Account Management3+ years' of sales experience in CPG food, and preferably with snack, candy or confections.Previous success in building and growing relationships and sales with vending channelsWorking knowledge of customer/consumer practices with Consumer-Packaged Goods companiesExperience in P&L/budget management, ability to create customer specific plans that achieve customer growth goals and PIM profitability goalsUnderstanding of demand planning and customer level forecastingProficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with ability to develop and deliver effective fact-based presentations in a persuasive formatAbility to work-cross functionally with Marketing, Customer Collaboration Team, Sales, Logistics and FinanceStrong creative abilities and business acumenDemonstrated ability to function with a high level of proficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced quick to pivot environmentStrong written, verbal and presentation skills; strong interpersonal and organization skillsStrong emotional intelligence skills and project management skills and ability to multi-taskDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, demonstrate initiative, motivation, problem-solving, teamwork skills, and a passion for customer developmentAbility to travel and work extended daily hours, including some weekends, to attend trade shows and industry conferences.Self-motivated with bias for actionApproachable, authentic, trustworthy, team player and genuineDemonstrated personal and professional values, being a role model and positive influence on those around him/her; demonstrated unquestionable integrity and character, bringing out the best in othersNatural aptitude for logical problem solving; analytical skills and strategic thinking abilitiesValid Driver License and clean driving recordPreferred Qualifications:Advanced Microsoft Office skills; VBA, macro-enabled workbooks, etc.Trade Promotion Management software experienceWorksite:Remote position to be based in the Western region of the U.S. with the ability to travel up to 30% in the West to meet with customers and broker partnersAbility to work extended daily hours, including some weekends, to attend trade shows and industry conferencesThe PIM Brands Global Headquarters is in Park Ridge, New JerseyWe are proud to offer:Total compensation package including bonus, 401(k) plan match and other incentives (*based on eligibility and position)Comprehensive benefits package - EFFECTIVE DAY 1, including medical, dental, vision, disability, insurance plans and much moreDiverse range of benefit choices tailored to support you in making optimal decisions for yourself, your loved ones, and your preferred way of lifePersonal time off, vacation time, floating days and observed holidaysBusiness casual dressEntrepreneurial and innovative culture offering the opportunity for internal career advancementAwards & Accolades:Best Places to Work in NJTop 50 Employer in New Jersey#10 Candy Company in North America#26 Global Candy CompanyMakers of Welch's - #1 Fruit Snack in U.S.2024 Advocate of the Year AwardRecognized by NJBIA - State-of-the-Art Manufacturing Facility and in Research/Development 2024Recognized by New Jersey Business Magazine 2024Top 100 Privately Owned Company in the Metro NYC MarketPIM Brands is an Equal Opportunity Employer PIM Brands is an e-Verify Employer
