The Plant Engineer will assist and support the Maintenance and Process Engineering departments including with tasks and assignments. You will assist with engineering designs, implementation of equipment modifications and recommend alterations to equipment to improve conditions and processes.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists with machine process improvements.
  • Conducts meetings with contractors to ensure understanding of drawings and project specifications
  • Obtains job quotes and is the point of contact for contactors.
  • Completes drawings (CAD) and documentation such as work orders, contractor forms.
  • Coordinates project requirements with Engineering, Operations and contractors.
  • Attends planning and improvement meetings.
  • Be a hands-on Engineer to support all aspects of equipment troubleshooting and improving uptime in various departments.


Job Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or Higher
  • Ability to drive KPIs to improve continuous improvement activities
  • 4 – 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Robotics, and other manufacturing equipment required
  • Drives and promotes a proactive Safety culture.
  • Experience in managing materials and labor cost with department budget
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CAD Software.


This is a direct hire opportunity with a Monday-Friday Day shift schedule.
