Shift position will most likely be Mon-Fri 2nd shift 2:00 pm-10:30pm

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Responsible for moving product within the warehouse by means of motorized equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, reach lifts etc.
  • Responsible to stock incoming items, to replenish flow racks, and pick orders with use of RF equipment
  • Create cartons and labels prior to shipping
  • Ability to break down incoming products per packing list
  • Maintain productivity minimum standard
  • Adhere to all safety rules, policies and procedures
  • Work overtime as required
  • Load and/or unload trucks.
  • Put away incoming freight.
  • Replenish orders as necessary to support operation.
  • Supply cardboard boxes and bags for departments.
  • Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain clean work environment.
  • Maintain safe actions on and off the equipment in compliance with all safety rules/regulations required by Emerson, federal, state and local provisions.
  • Meet department quality, attendance and productivity requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 6 months of related experience
  • Equivalent distribution center experience
  • Requires prior forklift certification with 6 months previous warehouse experience
  • Previous shipping/material handling experience
  • Experience with RF equipment to move product
  • Ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, push and pull for shift all product/carton weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Follow directions and see the task through safely.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future


Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Ability to operate forklift in a safe manner
  • Follow written and/or oral instructions in English
  • Able to lift parts weighing in excess of 50 pounds (assistance when needed) and to work in bending, reaching, pusiing, pulling, squatting and standing positions for long periods of time
  • Ability to work quickly meeting efficiency and quality standards
  • Promote an environment where individual contribution (s) toward quality and cost effectiveness are improved.
  • Pass forklift certifications and requirements to operate forklifts
  • Required to work overtime when necessary
