Position Goal/Objective
We re searching for a highly qualified Project Manager to help us maintain our position as an innovative industry authority and ensure that our goals of innovation and outstanding customer service are achieved. The ideal candidate will have print production experience and a strong background in developing and overseeing work plans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage print production activity and coordinate with account service to provide outstanding support for the customer account service sales and manufacturing teams.
Manage a significant percentage of the company s business at any given time by planning and supervising each stage of a job to successful completion meeting specifications on time and within budget.
Serve as customer advocate on all phases of projects including planning scheduling and quality assurance.
Manage multiple request types ranging from manufacturing requirements status updates workflow updates and customer inquiries.
Organize projects to be produced efficiently and within budget investigate and recommend strategies or modifications to enhance quality functionality and production efficiencies.
Review purchase orders proposals and job specifications for pricing timing special considerations and final delivery information.
Prepare required documentation for all phases of a job including but not limited to manufacturing job tickets purchase orders cost reports billing alterations and status trackers.
Review all incoming and outgoing proofs checking for content color and production specifications.
Identify and contract with vendors to procure products and services confirming estimates are within budget and ensuring finished products meet or exceed quality and budget standards.
Provide clear and concise daily communication and status updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Communicate in a timely fashion any quality inventory scheduling or pricing challenges communicate and implement agreed upon corrective action.
Prepare the documentation required for accurate timely billing.
Required to perform other duties as requested directed and assigned.

- Familiar with brands Bobst Komori Heidelberg preferred.
Education and Experience:
- College education or a minimum of 5 years of project management experience in print production or a related setting.
- Prior experience with PrePress Pressroom and Bindery.
- Understanding of print and design principles and good working knowledge of the endtoend process.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to sit and work on a computer
- Occasionally required to stand and walk
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Specific vision abilities include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Work Environment:
- Work performed in an office environment where a noise level is moderate
8am 5pm
This is position is onsite.
