Overview:

St. Andrew Classical Catholic School seeks a dedicated and passionate teacher (Grades 6-8) to join our vibrant educational community.


We are looking for: Math, Latin, Science and Computers.


Our mission is to cultivate the intellectual and spiritual growth of our students through a classical curriculum rooted in Catholic values. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a love of learning and nurturing each student's faith development.

Responsibilities:

  • Instruction: Deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the classical curriculum, ensuring alignment with Catholic teachings.
  • Classroom Management: Create a respectful and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and academic excellence.
  • Assessment: Evaluate student progress through a variety of assessment methods, providing feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to support school-wide initiatives and enhance student learning.
  • Faith Integration: Incorporate Catholic values and teachings into daily lessons and classroom activities.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends.
  • Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and school events.
  • Extracurricular Involvement: Participate in school events, activities, and committees to foster a strong school community.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Classics or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Valid teaching certification for the state of Montana or exemption through discussion with Head of School.
  • Strong understanding of classical education principles and Catholic doctrine.
  • Previous teaching experience preferred, particularly in a Catholic or classical school setting. New college graduates are encouraged to apply.  Experience can come in many ways
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to the spiritual development of students.
