We are recruiting for an expereinced Data Engineer for a 34 month contract role with our client. The position can be remote but applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a background check. Preference to candidates in the Oklahoma City area.

Responsibilities of the Data Engineer position
  • Oversee endtoend data migration processes ensuring smooth transitions from legacy system to Cloud
  • Utilize advanced Python and PySpark scripting skills to develop and maintain data solutions.
  • Design and develop scalable data frameworks to support complex data migration
  • Work with a team of junior data engineers providing mentorship and guidance on best practices and development techniques.
  • Design implement and optimize ETL processes to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
Requirements for the Data Engineer position:
  • Proven expertise in Python and PySpark scripting with at least 3 years of industry experience
  • 3 years of experience with ETL processes and data migration
  • Strong familiarity with AWS data platforms and services.
  • Leadership skills and experience in mentoring and coaching junior data engineers
