Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of networking protocols and technologies combined with handson experience in designing implementing and maintaining enterprise networks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our network infrastructure is secure reliable and scalable to support the companys operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design deploy and maintain local area networks (LANs) wide area networks (WANs) and other network segments.
  • Configure and maintain network equipment including routers switches firewalls and load balancers.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues such as network outages latency and bandwidth bottlenecks.
  • Implement network security measures to protect data systems and networks from unauthorized access and cyberattacks.
  • Collaborate with system administrators and other IT staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems.
  • Perform network upgrades and enhancements as required to support business growth and technological advancements.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to network configurations processes and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to endusers and assist in resolving networkrelated issues.
  • Stay updated with industry trends best practices and new technologies in networking.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (relevant certifications and experience may substitute).
  • Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role in managing enterprise networks.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g. TCP/IP DNS DHCP VLANs VPNs).
  • Handson experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco Juniper Palo Alto Networks etc.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and network troubleshooting techniques.
  • Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
