Function description
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of heavy equipment and materials, contributing to the success of our projects. Together with your teams, you will be p lanning and executing intricate lifting and rigging operations, utilize advanced rigging techniques, and ensure secure and stable lifting. As a Rigger, you will w ork closely with project managers, engineers, as well as crane operators, and other crew members within the project. You are able to perform physically demanding tasks that include lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions offshore and onshore.
As an important part of the job, you are to always adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to create a secure work environment. In addition, you should provide guidance and enforce safety measures among the team members involved in lifting operations at all times.
Experience with monopile installation, TP's, sea fastening, deck equipment, secondary steel installation, crane banking, or Forklift operations would be an additional plus to your profile.
Requirements
To qualify for this job, you must:
- Have at least 2-years of experience as Rigger / Banksman / Slinger / Ordinary Seaman / Deck Cadet / A/B;
- Good level of English language;
- 5 GWO modules (W@H / SS / MH / FA / FAW);
- Rigger / Slinger-Signaller / Banksman certificate or equal;
- OPITO BOSIET (or HUET) with CA-EBS;
- MLC / OGUK medicals and Chester Step;
- STCW Security Awareness;
- B1 OCS Visa;
- Forklift / Telehandler / Cherry picker courses are not mandatory, but a plus.
