Rigger Journeyman

**Job Title:** Rigger Journeyman

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled Rigger Journeyman to join our team at Bechtel Corporation. As a Rigger Journeyman, you will be responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading rigging tackle, as well as assisting in the selection of equipment to be moved.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Loads, transports, and unloads rigging tackle according to weight and size of load.
• Attaches pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures using bolts and clamps.
• Attaches loads with appropriate rigging tackle to crane hook.
• Gives directions to Crane Operator to ensure safety of workers and material handlers.
• Assists Crane Operator in assembly and disassembly of cranes.
• Sets up braces and rigs hoisting equipment using hand tools and power wrenches.
• Directs workers engaged in hoisting of machinery and equipment.
• Loads, transports, and unloads materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Cleans and maintains tools, equipment, and work area.
• Performs minor maintenance or cleaning activities on tools and equipment.
• Plans and coordinates movement of cranes and setup.

**Requirements:**

• 48 months of industrial construction experience.
• Advanced Rigger and Signalperson skills.
