Passionate? Creative? Looking for a great company to build your career? At POWER Engineers, Inc., you can have a rewarding experience at every level. We are currently looking for civil/site development engineers who desire challenging yet meaningful work. In this role, you'll apply your engineering skills to design projects that have a positive impact on global infrastructure while being a good steward of the environment.

Join POWER Engineers as a Civil/Site Development Engineer in the Civil, Structural, and Architectural Department of the Power Generation Division. Our best leaders are self-motivated lifelong learners with a keen curiosity about the global energy market. We want to find employees that are focused on our clients, our people, design tools, and the various technologies and innovations that will help our clients meet their decarbonization and modernization goals.

Our employees enjoy a hybrid workplace environment. Our hybrid workplace experience means you will be able to work from the comfort of your home with the expectation of reporting to the office up to a few days per week. You'll find the support, coaching, and training you need to advance your career.

Help us assist multiple types of clients (Independent Power Producers, Municipal Electric Utilities, Investor-Owned Utilities) address their challenges and implement power grid systems of the future. Get experience in a wide range of power plant technologies including biomass, municipal waste, geothermal, hydrogen, fossil fuel, carbon capture, battery energy storage, hydro, and solar.
Here are a few things you can expect:
  • A proven system to mentor and develop leaders within our organization. We want to provide you with a career path to become a Lead Engineer, Technical Manager, Project Engineer, Project Manager, or Department Manager.
  • A major component of our design process relies on integrated 3D Modeling (Autodesk, Bentley, and Intergraph.)
  • There is a lot of latitude for decision-making; we're not interested in micromanaging.
  • We expect everyone on the team to assume ownership of the project's goals and success. You will coordinate with the client, other disciplines, the permitting agencies, and contractors.
