What Youll Do:

  • Prepare deliverables identified by the Contract Manager within the timeframe specified.
  • Deliverables the candidate will be responsible for producing include but are not limited to:
      • Current (AS IS) business process and customer journey maps
      • SWOT Analysis
      • Requirements for Future (TO BE) business processes and customer journey maps
      • Gap Analysis
      • Business Process Models (Diagram and Narrative)
      • Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD)
      • Data Dictionaries
      • Data Flow Diagrams
      • User Stories
      • Acceptance Criteria
      • Business Cases
      • Test Plan
  • Communicate relevant information to project teams and stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate meetings throughout the term of the contract
  • Proofread meeting documentation to ensure use of proper grammar and consistent font styles
  • Attend the meeting and communicate with attendees in a clear concise and constructive manner
  • Provide meeting documentation in the format designated or approved by the Contract Manager
  • Make necessary meeting arrangements and create needed artifacts to fulfill meeting objectives
  • Create a meeting agenda and send it to attendees in advance of the meeting
  • Keep meeting notes highlighting key action items and decisions and indicating clear due dates with any next steps needed.
  • Send copies of the meeting notes to attendees within three (3) Business Days following the meeting
  • Address project team conflict and communication problems proactively
  • Review required documentation evidencing the deliverable for completeness and correctness before submitting to the Project Team and Stakeholders.
  • Obtain acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Contract Manager and appropriate Stakeholders

What Youll Need Required:

  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with Department staff at various levels
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of IT business/industry work experience
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in performing business analyses on

IT projects:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience managing large software development programs/projects
  • Experience creating process model diagrams
  • Experience translating business requirements into use cases/user stories and acceptance criteria

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal state and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitors
