The Opportunity:

As the Underground Transmission Line Engineering Manager, you will:
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians
  • Manage diverse and challenging projects
  • Oversee design quality, budget, and schedule
  • Support client interactions, proposals, and business development

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage budget, schedule, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines
  • Handle project changes with the client and project manager
  • Coordinate activities across multiple disciplines, potentially serving as the engineer of record
  • Develop good working relationships with project leadership and support staff
  • Communicate client interests to project team members
  • Support business development and pursuit activities
  • Travel occasionally for site visits, design reviews, and client meetings
  • Ensure compliance with client and industry standards
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing EPC or design services for underground transmission line projects
  • Knowledge of high voltage underground transmission lines and project lifecycle
  • Working knowledge of CYMCAP and Pole Planner
  • Strong communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and standards
  • P.E. License highly preferred

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Minimum of 8 years related work experience
  • Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements

Certifications:
  • Professional registration or licensure in home office country or in active pursuit of such registration

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
  • Typical office environment with a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office and 2 days remote)
  • Travel to client sites as needed
