Roles & Responsibilities :

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Refine project plan that include deliverables work breakdown structure stakeholder list roles and responsibilities dependencies detailed project plan and timelines to meet business objectives and regulatory deadlines.
2. Lead project team in project execution ensuring compliance with standard project management methodologies.
3. Establish and maintain formal controls to manage and monitor project scope quality and schedule to ensure project is completed on time and effectively. Negotiate necessary project changes with project sponsor. Maintain adjust and update project plans as needed.
4. Develop communication plans. Provide timely accurate communication of project plans and status to internal partners and prepare materials for external stakeholder workshops.
5. Perform risk management to ensure risks are identified tracked and minimized.
6. Work effectively with multiple organizations such as the Transportation Electrification programs rates and regulatory affairs strategic planning program implementation engineering finance and accounting and other business partners to ensure successful completion of project.
7. Effectively lead crossfunctional teams in completing business critical and strategic project.
8. Close out project capturing lessons learned during the project for input to improving future projects.
9. Assist managers in establishing process controls in order to measure baseline and postimprovement performance to monitor success of improvement initiatives.
10. Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
11. Drive budget and cost effectiveness analysis including alignment between the Business Line and Finance

Minimum Qualifications :

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1. Thorough knowledge of project management science methodologies and standards.
2. Excellent clear concise communication skills both written and oral and presentation skills.
3. Ability to learn regulatory requirements and write written documentation to support meeting the requirements
4. Excellent negotiation and persuasion
5. Excellent listening skills including the ability to draw information out and to see things from anothers perspective.
6. Proven problem solving skills and the ability to facilitate and resolve problems arrive at consensus of business need and viable solution; comprehensive knowledge of problem analysis.
7. Excellent consulting skills.
8. Strong human relations skills.
9. Thorough knowledge of MS Project PowerPoint Word Excel and Visio.
10. Typically 810 years of project management experience
11. Typically a minimum of a bachelors degree in Business Communications Psychology or English.
12. Prefers Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
13. Familiarity with basic financial concepts such as budgeting and cost effectivenes
