The Project Manager II provides quality project management support for Phillips 66 Midstream. This includes the full range of project engineering and management support from initial project development through engineering design, procurement, construction and project close out. The role will also provide support for the development of process, systems and procedures aimed at consolidating to a single approach for the delivery of projects. Result will be a Midstream Projects organization that matches the business needs and delivers projects in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.

Required Qualifications:
  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred) or Construction Management
  • 6 or more years of experience in the Midstream and/or Downstream segment of the oil and gas industry including crude, refined products, NGL's and natural gas
  • 4 or more years of experience managing projects
  • 4 or more years of experience managing engineering and construction contractors
  • Intermediate or greater proficiency of industry recommended practices, design methods and QA/QC requirements used to check procedures, incorporate changes and document control
  • 10-20% travel to work sites and engineering offices will be required to support project development, design and implementation
  • Intermediate proficiency in managing liquids and gas projects

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3 or more years of experience working in Midstream facilities, pipelines and/or terminals
  • Working knowledge of Phillips 66 management of change principles
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in SAP
  • Working knowledge of federal, state and local regulations, industry standards and DOT requirements

Midstream

Phillips 66's Midstream business is a safe, reliable and trusted logistics provider for the movement and storage of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 22,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.
