Role Overview:
The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements conducting gap analysis on existing system functionalities and configuring new and existing systems to meet business needs. The role also involves creating and updating application documentation to support future upgrades and ongoing system maintenance. Additionally the Business Analyst provides tier 2 support for internal business users and manages application platform maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business partners to define and communicate project requests support the development of business requirements and ensure initiatives requiring IT resources are wellunderstood by all stakeholders.
  • Gather business reporting requirements and translate them into technical report design specifications.
  • Perform gap analysis on existing system functionalities and apply necessary configuration changes using application management tools.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation and user help guides.
  • Provide secondtier support for internal business users and maintain data interfaces with other internal applications/systems.
  • Work closely with developers/designers to ensure business requirements are understood and the appropriate solutions are developed.
  • Communicate effectively with business analysts project managers crossfunctional teams and internal/external customers to identify key tasks and deadlines.
  • Ensure regular and predictable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Word PowerPoint and SharePoint; intermediate skills in Excel and SQL/Query.
  • Ability to multitask with minimal supervision in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong skills in translating business needs into system specifications and providing technical solutions.
  • Experience in managing the requirements process and liaising with diverse stakeholders.
  • Advanced oral and written communication analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and share knowledge.
  • Experience in developing requirements documents Use Cases and test cases.
  • Knowledge of program management/applications.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • 12 years of ITrelated experience such as Business Analysis or Quality Assurance.
