Job Summary

AECOM Hunt is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager II to be based in Greenwood, Indiana or Fortville, Indiana.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the Project Management team by overseeing construction administration tasks

  • Preparing subcontractor reports as needed to keep Supervisor and Client informed of ongoing progress

  • Interfacing with the Design Team and Client

  • Participating in site visits. Coordinating and assisting field staff as required

  • Working closely with BIM team and using model viewing/ analysis software

  • Monitoring and assisting with Change Orders

  • Receiving, reviewing and submitting documents for approval (Submittals/ RFIs/ etc.)

  • May assist with reviewing and compiling financial reporting

  • Reviewing project costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract

  • Working with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate

  • Attending meetings and reporting on project tasks as needed

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or Construction Management or any related discipline + 2 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency

  • Due to the nature of work, US citizen is required

  • Valid Driver License

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Working knowledge of drawing production, standard construction techniques, and principles
  • ​​​​​​​Valid Driver’s License to operate an AECOM provided motor vehicle on construction project site(s) to support project tasks assignments and scope of work. For positions with driving responsibilities, Motor Vehicle Records are reviewed as part of AECOM’s background check process to ensure compliance with the Company’s driving standards.
