Duties

This Program Analyst position is located Security Operations (SO) International Operations (IO) Mitigation Operations (MO), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to: Serve as an internal point of contact for the IO Preclearance Program. Will analyze global aviation security risk and provide mitigation through regional delivery of assistance. Conducts direct coordination with foreign government officials, US government officials and industry or multilateral organization contacts. Assist in the development of program plans, products and tools to execute the IO preclearance program and supports preclearance priorities for the program office, agency and department strategic priorities or initiatives. Participates as a writer for issue papers and briefings for senior agency and department officials on policy and requirements of preclearance initiatives, to include Congressional response letters, department taskers, and presentations. Working with team members, conduct analysis to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of program operations, reporting metrics, and tracking mechanisms in order to measure results and recommend program efficiencies or improvements. Coordinate, contribute to and participate in meetings with host country government officials, subject matter experts in TSA, other partner security organizations and stakeholders. Develop and maintain relationships with TSA stakeholders to successfully execute preclearance program initiatives. Prepares the findings and recommendations of analysis and reviews with the supervisor prior to release.
