Smiles Like Yours, LLC is currently growing and expanding We are hiring Life Coaches/Direct Support Professionals for our weekend Community Engagement program (Saturdays and Sundays, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm). Having experience is highly valued 

Starting pay is $16/hr+ with higher hourly rates being offered based on experience and shift. Includes a paid lunch.  

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Implementing and following the policies and procedures of the Company. 
Observing and promoting the rights and personal dignity of others. 
Engaging or assisting in the person-centered care of individuals. 
Assisting individuals when entering and exiting vehicles while on community outings, as well as entering and exiting buildings safely. 
Maintaining effective working relationships with individuals and other employees. 
Supporting individuals with assistance during events. 
Safely guiding and engaging individuals in the community to interact with others. 
Safely transporting individuals to and from events utilizing company vehicle. 
Providing personal care during activities if necessary. 
Implementing and Documenting Individualized Support Plans and Progress 
Reports. 
Applying first aid, CPR and or Tova, when necessary. 
Attending all scheduled meetings/training for the well-being of the company. 
Administering medication, when necessary. 
Performs other related work, as required. 

At a minimum, candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, abilities and attributes:

Social, upbeat and have compassions for others.
On time and have a good driving record.
Must undergo and successfully pass a background check.
Must be proficient in Microsoft word, Adobe, and other related reporting systems.
Ability to observe, record, and report Individuals’ behavior, attitude, and physical condition.
Ability to lift, squat and bend to set up activities on a consistent basis.

Preferred candidates are those who are TOVA certified, CPR certified. Candidates who have experience using the system Care Tracker and WaMS are preferred.

Job Type: Part-Time

Salary: Base Pay $16.00+ per hour; additional pay based on experience.

Schedule:

Saturday and Sunday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Work Location: In-person.
