Social and Housing Support Worker

DDL Care Services is a private care at home company based in Peebles that covers the area of Peebles, Cardrona and Innerleithen covering a range of clients with differing needs.
Not all support will take place in the person’s home due to the diverse services we offer to our clients. The services can include companionship, social support, respite support, transport/escort, shopping service and housework.

Type of Contract - Part time
Hours of Work: - Monday to Friday 10am – 3pm
Access to a vehicle and clean driver’s licence is essential.
Experience and skills:
No experience is necessary as full training is provided. It is more important that you have the right attitude and commitment to wanting to support others.
What we offer:
· Paid training. · £11.44 per hour and an enhanced rate if you are covering staff sickness or holidays. · Payment for travel time between clients and payment for mileage @ 45p per mile. · Free Uniform and an essential care kit bag. · Paid PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) Disclosure. · A workplace pension. · Access to Blue Light Card discounts.
