Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Senior ITS Engineer for immediate employment in the Boston, MA office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage ITS projects (prepare and negotiate scopes and fees; manage tasks, schedule, and budget; manage project financials)
  • Manage ITS staff (responsible for one or more direct reports)
  • Lead project meetings; communicate with clients
  • Support business development efforts (get involved in professional organizations, meet new potential clients, develop proposals)
  • Perform systems engineering activities (ITS Architecture, Concept of Operations, Requirements, ITS Design, Test Plans, Verification)
  • ITS planning
  • ITS software development oversight including preparation of procurement documents
  • Develop plans, specifications, and estimate for ITS design plans
  • Perform construction services for ITS projects (review submittals, respond to requests for information, offer field advice)
  • Support design-bid-build and design-build projects

  • BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • 4 plus years managing ITS projects
  • 4 plus years managing ITS staff
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
  • Experience ITS planning and ITS Design plans
