He/she communicates with customers, educating them on necessary preventive vehicle maintenance. Additional duties may include courtesy services, and tire repair and replacement services.ResponsibilitiesPerforming upper bay and lower bay oil change and inspection functionsExplaining SpeeDee programs, services and pricing structure in order to achieve high customer satisfaction and increased revenuesAttending training sessions that are applicable to the career path and position requirementsPerforming preventive maintenance on fluid services equipmentFollowing appropriate safety procedures and notifying the Shop Manager of safety hazards or needed equipment repairsRequirementsCommitment to excellence at all levels of serviceGood communication skills and upbeat personalityClean and neat appearanceValid state driver's licenseOther Duties and ResponsibilitiesIn addition to the duties listed above, every crew member is responsible for general center maintenance and cleaning duties such as mopping, washing center windows and clearing litter. Crew members must attend crew meetings as required, as well as other duties assigned by a supervisor.Job QualificationsCustomer service skillsBasic literacy (ready, writing, math skills)Ability and licensed to operate motor vehiclesVerbal communication skillsAbility to properly use mechanical hand toolsAttention to detailNo previous experience or training requiredWorking ConditionsMaterials and Equipment used: Automotive oils, fluids, and lubricants.
