The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various offshore survey projects, using cutting-edge technologies and equipment. As an Offshore Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in collecting and analyzing survey data to support offshore operations and ensure the safety and efficiency of maritime activities.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct offshore surveys using various survey equipment and software.
  • Collect, process, and analyze survey data to produce accurate and detailed charts, maps, and reports.
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of survey data and deliverables.
  • Maintain and calibrate survey equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other surveyors, engineers, and project teams to provide technical support and expertise.
  • Monitor and report on the progress and status of survey projects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct pre and post-survey checks to ensure survey equipment and systems are functioning properly.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior surveyors and crew members.

Requirements

  • Experience with 4DNAV and Sonardyne Fusion2.
  • Proven experience as an offshore surveyor, preferably in the maritime industry.
  • Proficient in using survey equipment and software, such as GPS, sonar systems, and GIS software.
  • Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, data processing, and analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Flexibility to work in remote locations and offshore environments.
  • Valid driver's license and passport.
  • Offshore certification and training (e.g., BOSIET) preferred.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally as required.
