    • Oversees daily production activities ensuring adherence to safety quality and environmental standards.
  • Leadership and Team Development:
    • Builds and develops a highperforming production team through effective leadership coaching and mentoring.
    • Fosters a collaborative work environment that encourages open communication and problemsolving.
    • Provides clear direction and expectations to employees empowering them to take ownership of their roles.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develops and executes shortterm and longterm production plans aligned with overall business objectives.
    • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and implements necessary changes to enhance plant efficiency.
    • Collaborates with crossfunctional teams to optimize production processes and support business growth.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Ensures compliance with all safety environmental and regulatory requirements.
    • Conducts regular safety inspections and training programs to promote a safe work environment.
    • Investigates and addresses safety incidents promptly to prevent recurrence.
  • Financial Management:
    • Manages production budgets and controls expenses to optimize profitability.
    • Identifies costsaving opportunities and implements initiatives to reduce operating costs.
    • Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure plant performance and drive continuous improvement.
Performance Measures

The Production Managers performance will be measured based on the following key indicators:

  • Production output and efficiency
  • Safety performance (incident rates safety compliance)
  • Quality metrics (defect rates customer satisfaction)
  • Cost reduction and financial performance
  • Employee engagement and development


RequirementsThis person is the second in command for the plant. The company is looking for a dynamic leader. Someone who is a teambuilder and strong communicator. Manufacturing experience is not 100% needed. If you are transitioning you will need to indirect leadership experience; E8/9 or senior officer.
