POSITION: Short Notice Housekeeper II

SALARY: $16.74 per hour

REPORTS TO: Lead Housekeeper

LOCATION: Convalescent Center; Nespelem, Washington

Basic Functions: The Housekeeper will perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state, local standards and guidelines, and regulations governing the facility, and as directed by the Administrator and/or the Lead Housekeeper to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

Qualifications

Education and Training: 

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

Requires knowledge of housekeeping practices desired of the applicant. Requires knowledge of long term care setting. Requires ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc. Requires ability to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 30 pounds to a minimum height of 2 feet and be able to push, pull, move; and/or carry said weight a minimum of 20 feet. Requires the ability to make independent decisions. Janitorial experience preferred.
