Job Description:

Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia’s capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. Reynolds is committed to hiring and retaining a racially diverse, culturally competent staff at all levels of the organization who reflect the demographics of our students. We also believe in providing an ongoing investment in our faculty and staff to deepen their skills and competencies to serve the full range of our student population.

We are seeking adjunct instructors to teach distance learning and face-to-face courses in the Respiratory Therapy Program.

To assist with the credentialing process, please indicate on your application or resume whether each position held is/was a full-time or part-time position. Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants are required to hold an AAS or AS in Respiratory Therapy, the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential, and a current Respiratory Care Practitioner license issued by the Virginia Board of Medicine. Two (2) years of recent clinical experience is also required. Demonstrated ability to conduct student assessments for all course competencies. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to utilize basic computer applications such as email, scanning, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students. Selected candidate must be able to successfully pass the college's pre-employment security screening. Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a health related field
