Function description

At this moment, we are in search of a skilled 1st Electrician for a project in the United States . The 1 st Electrician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment on a heavy lift installation vessel. This role requires ensuring electrical systems are operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment, including power generation and distribution systems, navigation systems, communication systems, and heavy lifting equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Oversee the installation of electrical components and systems.
  • Conduct tests to ensure all electrical installations are functioning correctly.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with international and local regulations and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment.


Requirements

Requirements:
  • Passport with preferably US B1 visa
  • STCW BST, STCW PSCRB & STCW AFF
  • HUET or BOSIET
  • Designated Security Duties
  • High voltage
  • DP Maintenance
  • VCA Basic
  • GWO Sea Survival & Working at Heights certificate
