Job Summary

The Test Engineer position is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of in-process and end-of-line tests for existing products and new product launches. This position will develop and maintain production test equipment for a wide range of circuit board and electro-pneumatic products.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

* Develop test requirements and manage build of test equipment for EOL circuit board testing and programming.

* Implement test equipment data collection and presentation.

* Support existing well documented test equipment.

* Design and build new hardware and develop software for EOL testing of electromechanical and electropneumatic products.

* Manage the design and build of test equipment by external vendors.

* Work with product design engineers to develop test specifications and methods that support product requirements.

* Work with operations and manufacturing to implement end-of line testing using custom and existing universal test equipment.

* Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

BSEE in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

Minimum of two years experience in a manufacturing or product development test environment.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

* Demonstrated proficiency with product testing in a Windows based system using National Instruments and LabView.

* Pneumatic control systems experience preferred.

* Experience with industrial networks and data collection preferred.
