Description

The Department of Revenue's Taxpayer Services division is looking to hire a Management Analyst 3 (MA3) position on the Partnership Services Team to serve on the onboarding team. Partnership Services Team is a fun, dedicated team within the division's Business Licensing Services (BLS) program charged with helping city and state agencies join BLS and fostering relationships with existing partners. The BLS objective is to be the state's one-stop licensing resource to help customers easily and efficiently register their business with several state and city partners. We are looking for a bright, driven, and detail-oriented individual to help carry out our mission.

Duties

This position ensures the BLS system is programmed to meet all the city and state requirements for both payments and information. The MA3 also helps onboard new BLS partners in order to fulfill the state and local jurisdictions requirements to ensure proper licensure.
 
As a representative of BLS, you will have the opportunity to work with city clerks, finance directors, and other state agency employees to educate them on the partnering process. This includes communicating recommended changes to city ordinances or state RCWs in order to become a BLS partner.
 
The MA3 will 

Research, analyze and document business requirements with partners based on system compatibility and business needs for partnership. Coordinate implementation of new partners. Be responsible for system configuration testing to ensure it meets the business requirements of the partner. Facilitate the process of onboarding partners. Convert partner's existing licensees into the BLS database prior to partnership. Conduct multiple training sessions for each new partner.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, management, or political science, or closely related field 
 
AND 
 
2 or more years of progressive experience with data analysis and providing technical support to peers and general audiences. 

Note: Additional applicable experience may substitute for education on a year for year basis.
