We have immediate openings for a licensed Florida attorney with experience in one or more of the following areas of practice:
  • Real Estate Transactions
  • Estate Planning - Wills & Trusts
  • Probate and Trust Administration
  • Guardianship
  • Medicaid Planning


Our ideal candidate has two to five years of experience in the areas we practice, is energetic, service-oriented, reliable, well-organized, precise, detail-oriented, highly ethical, and hardworking. (The best candidate even knows who "Rohan" is.)

Our office is a pleasant work environment with friendly employees and most of our paralegals have 5 to 10+ years of experience in their fields.

Responsibilities
• Preparing letters, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Consultations with prospective clients.
• Assess and analyze a case for profitability and efficiency.
• Telephone and Zoom appointments/return calls.
• All forms of communication with clients: telephone, email, video conf.
• Working with the County Clerk's office &communicating with Judicial Assistants.
• Maintaining correspondence with clients and other involved parties.
• Performing various administrative tasks required to organize and maintain files (copying, scanning, faxing, etc.).
• Track and accurately enter time.
• Manage a caseload of open files.
• Legal research.
• Attend hearings.
• Involvement in the local community.

Qualifications

You also:
• Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida.
• The ability to work independently, prioritize, & complete assigned work in a timely manner.
• Take direction & feedback from the managing attorney.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Organized, detail-oriented, & able to work independently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, & Adobe PDF software.
• Possess strong written & verbal communications skills.
• Comfortable working in a team environment.
• Familiarity with timekeeping software & experience working in a law office.
• Proficiency with working in Practice Panther or other case management software.
• Working knowledge of supporting software, i.e. FormBuilder, FormTool, HotDocs, etc.
• Time management; calendar blocking.
• References required.
