VECC Veterinary Emergency, Critical Care & Referral Center in Newington (Portsmouth), New Hampshire is looking to add a Lead Emergency Veterinarian to join our team

  • Close, hard-working and relaxed team
  • Boarded surgeon onsite 4 days a week, cardiology and ultrasonography are there once a week. Internal Medicine starting 4 days a week in April 2023
  • Close proximity to Maine, Massachusetts and Vermont which provides endless opportunities to enjoy your personal time

  • Medical decisions made at the hospital level, in the hands of the people who know their patients best
  • In this position we are open to mentoring the right candidate who needs to gain experience with cutting ER surgeries
  • The Lead Veterinarian serves as the clinical leader of the Hospital. They are responsible for the ongoing evaluation and management of clinical practices as well as the delivery of patient care. The Medical Director works in partnership with the Practice Manager and CVP to ensure a high standard of medical case management and to provide an excellent experience for our clients and their pets.
